Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
CBT and its derivatives, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), are based on changing our behaviours and thoughts, which can then help with regulating difficult emotions. These therapies have demonstrated effectiveness for anxiety, depression, bipolar, ocd, childhood issues, trauma, eating disorders, and Borderline PD, and any adult or adolescent who is dealing with difficult emotions and / or behaviours. Most of our psychologists have extensive training and supervision in cognitive therapies, and Brandi Gruninger offers supervision for students and provisionals in CBT.
